John Bowden,
Hi to all Oz Tiffs,

Just a quick hello to you all from the Bodger here in dear old Devon. We had a great time in Dawlish Warren last weekend at the multi class reunion S34-S40. It was great to see Bill and Margaret Allingham from down under. Enjoyed a quick look at your site, and will be back.

It is my intention to hold a joint reunion for both S34 and S35 in October, 2018 to celebrate 60 years since joining "Fisgard" in late '58, early '59.

Hope to see all you 34s and 35s there.

Cheers,
John "Bodger" Bowden.
S34.

Anyone out there from series 33 Anson Division?
I came in from HMS Ganges and yes it was quite a culture shock.
Now living in Willowbank Qld 4306 and loving it, especially the part of playing at being a Grey Nomad. Or as "Her Indoors" calls it being a Geriatric Hippie.

801 Spike Div, transferred to RNZN in Jan 1990 left in 2001. Now living in (Shakey) Christchurch teaching electronics. Never thought after I'd left the Andrew that I would have to secure things for sea again - but post earthquakes here in Christchurch I find myself once again lashing test equipment down & securing books in bookcases with gunline!

Thanks Muddy. It is the people like yourself, being staunch supporters that make the effort worthwhile. Long may it continue.
I would like to see others that are a bit reticent to join in and get to know us. We are there for the social side of things and remembering our backgrounds.

No matter what ,I will always turn up at reunions and get togethers as long as I'm able. Please encourage all known Tiffs to do likewise. Thanks Bob for a great site and for uniting us as a band of Tiffs down under.
